Painting of dark and light mindset Its funny that I think the best past midnight. I find myself most ripe with new and useful thoughts during this period that I'd never take the time to chew on during the day with the constant distractions. It must be because the lights are off and there isn't much to do at the time. (or perhaps I am a freak)

With the loud chattering and music going off next door and the fact that I slept early last night, it was no surprise that my eyes were opened at 3am. I know that if people were actually watching me while I slept, they would be laughing. I would at first turn and toss at times for quite a while. The second phase would then be nothing but hours of laying there stiff as a corpse. (with the occasional murmur I am told) Eventually I would sit up every now and then to squint at the clock and then go back to bed. Actually on some days I will just sit up straight in my bed and just think away. My head will be racing with ideas of life, problems, feelings, and all the likes. Of course, all this just ends up with me turning the switch of my computer to "on" just to feed my ongoing appetite for new input to my head. I try to go back to sleep but I can't ... not with my head desiring to deal with issues at the moment.
