The campus blackout once again I was not quite awake when this occurred but last night as I opened my eyes around 1 or 2 am, I noticed that the room was much darker than it usually is. The window showed the minimum outside light and I couldn't believe it when I overheard my roommate discussing the blackout that had just hit the campus. I hadn't remembered it all day until now because I was still in sleepy mode then. But this was not the first time this has happened, for if my memory serves me well, the power went out 3 other times not including early this morning. I am unsure what time the lights went out because I went to bed before 7pm but it doesn't really matter.

What a disgrace that the money being paid for tuition is not doing much. I do not want to bring up other issues that are an annoyance but this is pretty silly. In two years, there have been about 4 blackouts throughout the school and with no backup generator in place. I know my fellow students lost a lot of food that was in the fridge at one time due to the lack of quick response. I don't get it because you would think they had learn their lesson after the first two incidents and would have some form of protocol in place to deal with it. I tell you sometimes it feels like this is one of ghettoest places to live in. But enough of my ramblings ... I gots to go back to work before they catch me. To think I am blogging even during class time.
